SOCIAL STUDIES 6 - Read textbook page 30- 35, then fill in three facts for each topic on the outline worksheet that was started in class.  New cover page for chapter 2 - The Fertile Crescent  - all due on Wednesday. Time line project had been handed out and is due on Wednesday October 5th

SOCIAL STUDIES 6 - Use the portfolio check list to make sure your portfolio is in the correct order to be collected tomorrow and graded as a quiz for organization.  STUDY for Chapter 1 test.  

Timeline projects have been handed out as well as the paper the project must be completed on.  Projects are due on Wednesday October 5th. 

MATH 6- Chapter 1 take home pre-test.  Due on Tuesday September 27th. Chapter 1 test will be on Wednesday September 28th  and portfolios will be collected and graded as a quiz for organization. 

The corrected and Open Book quiz is due on Monday I will accept any completed quizzes tomorrow.  The original quiz must have a parent signature and turned in with the corrected quiz. .  

HONORS MATH 7 - Chapter 2 review to be completed in your composition book. Quiz on the second half of the chapter on Monday.  Chapter 2 test on Tuesday and portfolio will be collected and graded as a quiz.

ALGEBRA  -Textbook page 108-109 #2-24 evens to be completed on loose leaf.  Chapter 3 vocabulary due on Monday.

SOCIAL STUDIES 6 - First Civilizations map.  Read the paragraph and use the map on the back to answer the questions.  Use the check list handed out to organize your portfolio.   Use the chapter review and the quizzes to study for Friday's test. 

MATH 6 - Take home quiz for lesson 6-9. - due tomorrow.   Open book quizzes have been handed back to the students.  Each student must make corrections and put the new answers on the corrections quiz AND get the original quiz signed by a parent.  The corrected quiz must be turned in on Monday with the original quiz signed by the parent. 

Chapter 1 test will be on Wednesday and portfolios will be collected. 

HONORS MATH 7 - Worksheet 2-6, MYS page 79 and 84 with quiz 2 to be completed in your composition book.  Simple solutions #16-20 due Sept 27th

SOCIAL STUDIES 6 - AGAIN THIS IS A REMINDER AS WE DID NOT HAVE CLASS TODAY.

After reading page 20-24 complete the notes for 1-3, a flow chart.  If you look at your textbook on page 20, the first two facts are listed on the flow chart. Complete the flow chart to end with CIVILIZATION.

MATH 6 - Workbook 8 evens only, show the work to find the rounded answer and the actual answer. Allwork should be done on loose leaf.  Worksbook page 9 complete the entire page  by adding or subtracting.  Simple solutions up to #15 due on Thursday. 

HONORS MATH 7 - Cumulative review worksheet due tomorrow and simple solutions up to #15 due Thursday.

SOCIAL STUDIES 6 - Read section 1-3 pages 20-24, and complete the flow chart notees worksheet for section 3.  Due on Wednesday. 

MATH 6 - Workbook page 8, evens only, do all work on loose leaf.  Fold paper in half do the estimation by rounding on one side, then find the actual answer on the other side of the page.  Workbook page 9, do all problems by adding or subtracting.  Make sure you align the decimals.  No estimation on page 9, actual answers should be written on the worksheet. Due on Wednesday as tomorrow we will have standardized testing during math class.

SOCIAL STUDIES 6 -  Skills for life worksheet - Use a timeline.  Re - read textbook page 10 to understand the skill.  Complette the front and back of the skills for life worksheet.  Do all work on the worksheet.  Monday section 3, textbook page 20, vocabualry will be due.  If you have time to get ahead you might want to work on it tonight.  On Monday I will be checking that you have all 14 vocabulary words completed for Chapter 1

MATH 6 - Workbook page 7, Evend Only, do all worok on loose leaf.  Fold the page in half  one section is for the estimated work and answer and the other half of the page is for the actual poblem and answer. Bring you simple solutions to class on Monday to check lessons 6-10. 

HONORS MATH 7 - Textbook page 724 more practice for section 1-2, 1-3 and 1-3 to be completed on loose leaf.  Chapter 1 test will be on Monday.  We will also have a simple solutons quiz on Monday.

 SOCIAL STUDIES 6 - REMINDER!!!!  Vocabulary for section 1-2 on paage 12, is due tomorrow along with worksheet page 13/14.   On the front of the worksheet, list one think you knew in colomn one, something you want to learn in column two and something you learned after reading in column three. On the back of the worksheet,  make sure your are using a fact from the the book as your supporting detail to each statemenet.  I will be checking your vocabulary and comer page.  You should have a total of 9 vocabulary words so far. 

MATH 6 -  A rounding worksheet page 36 was placed on lyour desk.  Complete aal the problems on the front page and the top and the back page.  For numbers 1-20 on the back you need to only complete the evens using the rounding method from class.  Use your notes and show all work:   Place a star next to the smallest number, underline the smallest numbers greatest non-zero place value, underline all digits in the same place-value, round each numbers underlined place, then follow the correct operation (add or subtract)  Clearly mark decimals or commas in your final answer.  Simple solutions up to #10 are due on Thursday. 

HONORS MATH 7 -  Textbook page 51 to be completed on loose leaf.  Quiz tomorrow on seciton 1-4 to 1-7.  Simple solutons quiz on lesson 1-4 tomorrow also.  Simple solutions up to #10 due on Thursday.

MATH 6 -   Workbook pages 4 and 5 are due on Tuesday.  Please make sure you are following the directions carefully.  Use the help section at the top of each workbook page to help.  

HONORS MATH 7 - Chapter 1 review, to be completed in your composition book.  Make sure for the key term #1-5 you write out each statement and complete answer, not 1a.  I will mark it incorrect.  If there is any substitution taking place in the equation or expression, start with the statement first, then substitute and solve.  Simple solutions #6-10 due Thursday,
